No, that just shows that he's a schizophrenic that takes a card game too seriously. Also he needs to fix his hair and stop wearing a brick around his neck.

Why did you post a .BMP? It's 55KB! It'll clog my tubes!

(Seriously, at least use Paint to compress it to a .JPG)

1024 x 768, No filtering (bilinear), DX7, blob shadows/reflections, medium textures/ models/ etc, full screen, props fade past 20ft., high quality sound, no vsync. I thought my system wouldn't be able to run it at all so this is ok.

It's fine as the last time I needed to boot up was 1/2 a year ago. I set my computer to go to sleep after 30 minutes and stop the hard drive after 60.

My PC from 2003 is still fine for everything I do. I don't get people that buy a new computer before a new version of Windows.

"HP Pavilion a255c"

Pentium 4 2.66GHz (No Core/ HT/ other crap)
512MB of PC2700 DDR RAM
120GB Harddrive that spins at 5400RPM & uses Ultra DMA
Nvidia Geforce4 MX 440 (4x AGP due to motherboard limitations)

Runs Source games at 50fps
Rips dvd movies with handbrake at 115% real time
Rips music CDs with LAME at 1500% real-time
Takes 20 minutes to boot up (stupid Norton 2007)

The permit is $200 a pop. If you happen to buy a grenade launcher (cost of rare grenade launcher + $200) for the high explosive rounds, each round is the cost of the rare round plus $200.

Is anyone really stupid enough to get Vista just for Halo 2?

Halo 1 on the PC was terrible enough, requiring more computing power than Half-Life 2 and looking worse. Also they let kids with 500+ ping dial-up connections host 30 man games so your game would randomly freeze when it wasn't your turn to receive some bandwidth.

Oh snap!

I am 100% sure that Windows Vista will be mainstream. It is a certainty like death and taxes. Windows will dissapear when PCs as we know them today dissapear. The Swedish police and French government are not mainstream and they'll have to deal with unsupported hardware and 15 open-source versions of solitare distracting people. "All sorts of companies" use Windows: http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/thumb/a/a4/250px-Blue_Screen_Phone.jpg (not just on embedded devices like ATMs but on PCs, registers, PCs connected to sewing machines/ heavy machinery/ air traffic controller PCs, etc).

Vista isn't that bad. They've made all sorts of subtle inprovements to it like seperate volume sliders for each program. Back when they first announced the required computer specs, I was floored, but now those specs are the norm. (You'll still want a really fast CPU, dedicated DX9/10 graphics card and 2GB+ of RAM though. Ironically, as I found out using my friend's computer, is that these specs only run Vista comfortably rather than insanely fast in XP.) Once Vista becomes mainstream, the chicken and egg problem of software releases/ bug fixes will be solved and there'll be no problem with Vista. But if you want to jump ship and use a less compatible, harder to use or more expensive computer, fine.

I take 9/11 and any other conspiracies this way:

If I assume that 9/11 didn't happen as the government told us, i'd have to not believe everything else the govenrment tells us. Might as well start an anarchist revolution. (Also conspiracies are full of shit relying on video grain/ noise and misinformation.)

Steam using 150MB is still a fact, whether or not my computer is "quite slow".

P4 2.66GHz (No HT/Core/ other crap)
512MB of PC2700 DDR RAM
120GB Hard Drive (5400RPM, "Ultra DMA," 80% is free space)
Nvidia Geforce4 MX 440

Before you idiots scream "OMFG GET TEH DUAL CORE," do I really have to upgrade to the latest and greatest just to web browse/ play Half-Life based games?

The thing about this is that schools now are willing to do anything to prevent another Columbine. But they're only going after symptoms, not causes (pettyness, bullying, quarreling). We can ban all the things we want, expel kids for any suspicious behavior, but school shootings still occur.

Huge ass P.S:
(There's a also a hint of bigotry when it comes to reporting shootings. When the shooter is poor/ a "bad" ethnicity, they just say he was troubled and the parents were letting him or her worship satan/ abuse animals. When the shooter is asian, they hint that all asians are one homogenous gaming, mentally-ill group ready to shoot up their work/ school/ mall. But when the shooter is white, and from a well to do family, the news searches high and low for a motive. Not whiteness (you never hear it was a "anglo-saxon" or "white" shooter), not wealth (rich kids get bored and cause trouble, some acts recorded for posterity on youtube), neighboorhood (everyone goes to watch their football team lose), or parenting. It's because he or she didn't listen to mainstream pop music/ not in band, 2 sports, & 5 clubs to keep him or her busy/ played GTA/ wore non-mainstream clothes/ lives in the US, thus granting him or her an endless supply of cheap "assault semi-automatic .50 caliber armour-piercing baby-killing machine guns." It's never bcause they're white. Almost everyone of these school shooting broadcast on 24-hour news networks had been perpetrated by white males.)

Several thousand non-felons were kicked off the eligible voter rolls for being felons. This happens at every election, but when the difference was just 537, every vote counts. After elections get this close, these random technicalities start to matter :(
