in memory allocation failure Post #213204
this is what came up as an error file for me in the compiling process for my map
hlrad: Error: Memory allocation failure
Description: The program failled to allocate a block of memory.
Howto Fix: Likely causes are (in order of likeliness) : the partition holding the swapfile is full; swapfile size is smaller than required; memory fragmentation; heap corruption
i checked slackillers guidde and it told me to empty space for RAM and i did but it still isnt working. it happened after i added more water and a lot of aurmor entites i tried deleting some entities but it still didnt help. does any1 know the solution?

i looked at your tutorials and you dont have the installation guide for textures if u bought counter strike on Steam. You only explained how to download textures if you have the disc.

if i make a sky can i get rid of the cube i made to surround the level because i made a cube of textures that surrounds the level to prevent leaks

Whenever i load my map it runs extremely slow and it seems like there is a wiked low rfamrate. It supposed to be a big outdoor map but i dont know how to make the backgrounds so i used normal textures and i think that is the problem. So how do u make a sky and everything like that and will it fix my problem?
