Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen of twhl!

I am Larry, and with my close friend Sam, we're creating a new Machinima movie, which will hopefully be finished in time for the Machinima Expo 2008. The deadline is October 3rd, so we only have about 2 months. We're hard at work on the script. We've got animators, Skinners and Modelers for the movie, however, we are lacking a maps!

So this is where you guys come in. We're looking for experienced mappers who can create a variety of situations. These include the inside and outside of a bank, the inside and outside of a warehouse, a longish street and inside and outside of a cafe. We don't expect one mapper to do all this so we are getting as many mappers as we can to create the several situations we need.

Normally for maps I would just look on the internet, but these maps have to made to certain plans that relate to the story, (For example the layout of one particular street).

If you think you can follow instructions and are willing to make the maps, then please post back in this thread with:

1) Your First and Last Name
2) Your email
3) Links to some of your work
4) And any other ways of contacting you like your steam name or xfire username.

But before you do anything, you'll probably want to make sure that my friend and I will deliver a high quality Machinima. And you'd be right to think so!

I, Larry, have worked on Team Fortress 2 - Meet the Red Team. For this movie I edited it (Visually) and filmed in all in game with another friend of mine, Tim Hylkema (He wrote the script and directed it.)

Anyway, the shots been edited in photoshop. It will be included in the comic.

Thanks for the comments. I can take comments on the comic itself, you can't win with everybody. I know that. But I still don't get why it's such a problem to have them not linked. If I had links to each page, it's frustrating to have to click each one. On PHW they encourage not to use links.

Models mostly came from FPSbanana and my friend Kathar.

Well, this is my first post, and it better be a darn good one. And what better place to post it than this thread? Well anyway, I'm not much that of a mapper. I've come here to hopefully expand my existing skills and play some of your cool maps

Well, a bit about myself. I'm English, so if you see any errors in my text I have no excuse
My favorite hobbies are playing games and making "Gamics" or, comics made with the popular Source mod you may know of called "Garry's Mod". I do own the latest version so if anyone wants a game just ask!
I will be posting my most loved comics from the PHWOnline Community "Lion 1" and "Lion II". Beware, they're quite wacky! I have managed on PHW to achieve the title of "Approved Comic Maker" or "ACM" for short.

My second favorite hobby is graphics design. I have created my own site to show case my creations to the public. It's still a WIP at the moment so links here and there do not work. Needs more content at the moment.

So yeah, that's pretty much it for the moment. Oh and I forgot to add, I'm 14 years of old, will be 15 in October. But that doesn't mean I'll be a arse
