Well I hope you liked that! But wait, that's not all! There's more.
Here is one of my first videos, and a personal favorite!

Title: The Running Run
Genre: Chasing/Comedy
Authors Notes: Made using Source Recorder and Sony Vegas 6.0. Thanks to pyren for the acting and Tomiro for providing music :)

Aha! I hope you liked that!

Well, that's all from me at the moment. I'm Currently working on some more Comics and I will post some previews soon if you want. Thanks!

-Larry

PS. I already know of spelling mistakes in the comics, but since they're kinda old it's a bit late to fix them.

very high quality comics, if a little difficult to follow at times.

Don't know what srry's talking about.

Thank you, my comics need to flow more I guess.

I'd like to point out how much the Source engine has improved since 2004. Just look at the way the metrocop is lighted and some of those HDR effects.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-29 14:42:55 UTC Post #217442
The Metrocop has custom Bump Maps. :D
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-29 14:44:27 UTC Post #217443
Hunter: I'm talking about how many huge images he posted. I didn't really read any of the comics (no time), but I don't doubt their quality.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-29 14:44:48 UTC Post #217444
i noticed. very nice.

the only bit that made me chuckle was the "untie me" sequence, by the way.. It's not not funny, it's just not superb.

But again, well done on the quality and posing.

Please post links next time. And be nice to Srry...

Not bad, nice use of the blur effect and an interesting (random) story.

Did you make all those models?
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-29 15:43:48 UTC Post #217449
looks good, although I agree a little hard to follow. I can tell a lot of work went into this though, well done!

...but yeah, you killed the internet
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-29 16:06:17 UTC Post #217450
its hard for you to follow cause its to fastzors for you scrubs. Not a bad comic =D to everyone his style. Some people ( like the mediocre comic doods we have here [jking]) like to keep comics down to 6-8 frames per strip but variation is never bad.

I don't see why these images are problems, on my lap top it says this:

That was great. I laughed pretty damn hard the first time the dude turned into a cat. You've got a pretty weird imagination, dude. Awesome quality, too. But yeah, if you're going to post comics this long, link to the images instead of posting them. Its not because it takes long to load them, because it doesn't, but its just that they take up so much room in the thread.

Excellent comic. >:3 >:3 >:3
Superb posing, editing and effects. Some minor grammar and spelling errors.
It was a bit hard to keep track of what was going on at times, but the >:3s were awesome and the cyclops ruled. Ripped from Dark Messiah, I assume? Anyhow, very well done.

I had no problems with the many large images. I'm guessing Orph and his ilk will bitch about it, but they really don't have a clue, ignore them. The images are fine, it's a comic gawd damn it.

That's page processing speed for TWHL's PHP code, not other content such as images or external content, which depends on your internets.

+ Excellent editing
  • Somewhat hard to follow at times
You did a good job, one of the best looking Gmod comics I've seen thus far. You should definitely continue making comics. A tip would be to try to make it easier to follow. Great job!

That is the most fucked up comic i have ever read.. ever.

Well made though.

You have some seriously nice shots in here, but to be honest the comic itself was TOTALLY lame.

I dunno, maybe I just didn't get it.

Posted 17 years ago2007-03-30 04:28:54 UTC Post #217500
After reading it, I kinda have to agree with Trapt (ZOMG!) Your posing and everything was all very nice, but it was just sort of boring, and I found neither amusing nor particularly inspired. Also, it seriously lacked any continuity. I couldn't tell what was going on, most of the time.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-30 14:07:22 UTC Post #217534
I thought it was delightfully silly. Refreshing compared to some of the other C17 themed comics. Very... unique theme... and the ascii emotes definately added to the lol-factor. good work.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-30 15:03:34 UTC Post #217536
dont listen to srry and trapt. trapts always a bit of a dick and srry must have another problem at the moment, not to sure though.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-30 18:33:25 UTC Post #217542
I think everyone has some valid points. You've obviously got the skills to make a comic, but now I think you should concentrate on content more and use your skills alongside a fresh original idea.

Niggles aside, nice work. It's pretty obvious you've put a lot of effort into it. Also, don't listen to 56kfags who moan about not linking to images. If you don't like the way he's done things, don't comment on it unless you're going to be constructive.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-30 22:23:51 UTC Post #217558
Saying to link to your damn images (or post smaller ones that don't stretch the thread to an insane length, and slow my browser down) is pretty constructive, if you ask me. And for the last time, I DON'T HAVE 56k!!!

Arcan: Saying that doesn't help too much. You may not agree with me or my sense of humor, but that doesn't make my opinion any less valid than yours. I don't find it very funny or interesting, and that's not some "problem" I'm having right now, that's just how I feel about it.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-30 22:37:53 UTC Post #217559
yes, and im not discrediting your opinion, but i think i can recognize a feud or future enmity brewing when its that obvious.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-30 22:49:32 UTC Post #217560
That was fucking great, the most entertaining comic I have read to date! By the way, what's the name of the dialog font? It's really comic style.
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-31 00:20:22 UTC Post #217563
It would be nice to link to the images as it makes reading the posts below them impossible until they fully load. However, I'm not complaining.

Some of those models look really nice (the weapons, in particular). Did you model them or get them from somewhere?
Posted 17 years ago2007-03-31 01:37:47 UTC Post #217568
make the next one more over the top, its the messed up stories best feature. just got all out rediculous.

Nice posing most of the time.
Posted 17 years ago2007-04-01 19:35:07 UTC Post #217691
Thanks for the comments. I can take comments on the comic itself, you can't win with everybody. I know that. But I still don't get why it's such a problem to have them not linked. If I had links to each page, it's frustrating to have to click each one. On PHW they encourage not to use links.

Models mostly came from FPSbanana and my friend Kathar.
Posted 17 years ago2007-04-01 20:35:35 UTC Post #217699
well i always gotta wait two mins for each pic to load so i can scroll down unhindered =
Posted 17 years ago2007-04-01 21:01:21 UTC Post #217700
I didn't really get it but I couldn't stop reading it. I have no problems with the big images cos I have better things to do with my time than whine about the size of a few pictures on the internet.

I liked the posing and after effects but they were a little hard to follow, especially the second one. Keep it up.
