sorry for the late response... My map deffinitely has enough spawn points, they are well spaced out, and i do not know what bots i am using(a friend gave them to me)

For some reason I have 10 spawn points for each team, 20 in total, and when ever i try to fill the map with bots the game crashes and the following error is reported...

SZ_GetSpace: Overflow without FSB_ALLOWOVERFLOW set on Server Reliable Datagram

Whats goin on?

none of the camera examples in the vault are what i am looking for... Pretend you are playing cs and you walk up to a computer and press your use button, your screen gets changed to the point of view of the camera.. Thants what I want...

Oh yah, i dont want any paths or tracks from my camera... i want it stationary. If you played cs_assault or cs_militia for Counter Strike you will understand...

i dont want a physical camera, i just want it so you can walk up to a screen and press your use button and your screen gets changed to the cameras view. (you of course set up what the camera will be viewing...)

Hey all sorry for the lack of info on my last message. Here is what I want...:
I want to be able to have amonitor which the player can press and there screen gets turned into what the camera is seeing. If you have ever played cs_assault you will know what I am talking about.

It is having a camera which is actualy viewable to the player... How do you do it? Oh yah and the examples in the vault arnt what I am talking about...

Well you see its not the the elevator is going faster than the person can fall, its just they die in the air when crouching and jumping...

Hey all, I made a good working elavator and all. I find that when the elevator is moving DOWN and you jump AND crouch you die! the damage if inflicted if set to 0 and ive tried lots of things... My elevator does have a roof and maybe thats the issue... But if you have ideas or answers please hook me up. Thanks all

Hey man, I read your posting on elevator doors that move, its pritty long and thourough. I was wondering if you could send me the Worldcraft file with the elevator and all the points and stuff so I could use it. No dought that I would give you credit for it... Hey all, if you look at the texture C3A2_DR1 it is a texuture of half a door. If I have to walls how do I flip that texture to the other side so that the door looks like a true arch and not half a door? Know what I mean?

Yah, I just have a large area which doesn't have a wall at the moment. Anyway it is takeing a long time in the compile stage in WC. Is there a way to cut down on 17 seconds or the compilse time?

Hey all, I just started makin a map and I have noticed that the lodaing time is extremely long. I have boxed off my map so there are no leaks... I am not sure what is causing it... In my loading window the VIS sections reads:

232 portleafs
740 num portals
vis datasize 6641 comressped from 6728
AVRG leafs visiable 118
17 seconds elapsed

Do the textures outside of the level (that never get seen because in the black stuff) get seen by the computers? So would having textures on them matter?

Hey everyone... does anyone one of you Wizzies out there know what console command I could use to view all the textures on the walls of my map while in the game? Also If you know that you might know the command that allows you to see what the computer is running (it shows around corners and stuff to where the game cuts it off from your view... that may not have maid sence :o )... thanks all

What do you mean how many wads? the ones that are in the texture otion are cstrike.wad and halflife.wad and one I made, BookShelf.wad those are the three, and Ive only used about 30 to 35 different textures...

Hey all, I am having problems with my map running to many textures. It is not a very complex map, i consits of a farily large library (not to full or anything) a copple of hallways, a set of stairs, and a downstairs hall. For some reason (when in the game) my CS comes up in the top left corner, "Short x textures/edges".... stuff like that. What I think this is but not sure, is that my map is seeing the library when it is downstairs... If you know some consel command I could use to look at the textures while in the game, or how to fix this problem, please help... Thankyou...
P.S. My map is not nearly as complicated as some...
