To get the wad files from the gcf i try yo use GCFscape but only a few useless wad files extract while other important wads like cstrike.wad or halflife.wad its gives me this error :

Created C:Program FilesGCFScapetemp.

Extracting to C:Documents and SettingsKing M00Desktop.

um ok, i have made a map where there a a huge g4cube in the middle, on the sides (not the g4 further away) there are 4 mini g4cubes. The mini g4 cubes are hollewed out and i can c through them already (if i go in them) but i still cant shoot out of them. :zonked:

my second option i guess would to make a little passable window, people could still shoot in but i guess the people inside the cube could duck away!?

Is there any way I can shoot through the wall side i can see through, while the other side is unable to shoot through? Something like a fence, but a one way fence?

8(l) * 7(w) * 3(h) those are the mesurments of my map (in cubes?) and the compiler still craps out on me, is that because of the compiler or because of my comp, if not my comp what is the biggest possible map to make that wont crap out the compiler?

ok, now i know im gonna piss someone off for writing this but... i want to make Cs maps, I read the setup tutorial and the mapping cs parts 1 and 2, and I made a room that has the info_player and info_deathmatch,so the cts and ts spawn are covered and i also have a bunch of hossie entities and a rescue point, but... when i try to run the map it tells me that the map was not found on server EVEN when it is in my cs maps folder, when i make hl maps it doesnt give me this error. :

ok i have a map and it has lots of secrets. the texture for the entire map is {Fence. i have my graphics on open gl so i dont see any blue and it hides all the secrets well, when my friends play (ones with out opengl) they complain about the blue in the map. i tried to change the texture to others but when im playing my secret (like doors) stick out like a sore thumb. is there a texture, just one for the entire map, or is there a way i can fix this?

ok i have complied my map and have a .bsp file, i put it into my valve folder (hl map) when i go to internet and create games i cant find the map in the list. I know i have a small leak in my map does this effect it? or is it something else?
