Yes, texture beginning with +A can be toggled on and off, when applied to an func_wall brush. Just name the func_wall and trigger it. Any applied texture beginning with +A will be toggles on and off. Only if your trigger support toggle, like a func_button, it has a toggle flag. Check that flag to allow toggeling (word?).

Oops, this is a Source question. Sorry, i thought this was for HL.

Adden a cue/loop point is easy.
I use Goldwave for that. Google it. :)

Important: add your cue/loop point at the beginning of the wav (00:00:00), not the end.

Try this:

Place a scientist.
Name: sci1

Place a scripted_sequence
name: look_at_that
target monster: sci1
action animation: pondering1/pondering2/pondering3
move to position: you pick. If you choose for Walk, place the SS at the spot where you want your sci to do his observing.

That should work. All you have to do is trigger the SS (look_at_that) and the sci will walk to the SS and do his performance. :) If you can't get it work, whatever the reason of that might be, i can make a small example map for you to look at. :)

I spend 5 hours yesterday on my freakin crapy entity setup for my transportation system. That stupid trigger_teleport gave me a headach. Im still not satisfied with it, but im not going to change anything, im going to finish this map tonight.

Map map is freakin complicated. About 80% of the map's brushwork are vertex manipulated triangles. A real pain in the butt. :)

Aw well. I hope my maps matches the compi requirements. :)

I think you will understand if you post a screenshot of a random complicated part of your map. Then i can show you which object are better be turned into fun_walls.

If you don't have webspace to host the image on, use http://www.imageshack.us.

The most common cause is that your map is much too complex for the compile tools. Do you have a ny complex geometry in your map? Like carved/vertex manipulated/cillinders/arches/etc? Stuff like this are better be turned into func_walls. That'll increase compiletime.

Use a different ceilling texture. That texture is a floor texture and is usually not used for ceillings. ;)
