in New Mod. Odd Error. Mod_NumForName Post #9819
Thanks, I took a look at Tommy14 and it turns out one of the /mdl paths in a monster_generic for a scripted sequence was off by one character. It's working fine now though.

in New Mod. Odd Error. Mod_NumForName Post #9747
I made a Spirit based mod with new weapons and a little bit of coding and stuff (just for me and my friends mostly and maybe for the public) but whenever I run it, I get an odd error message of Error Mod_NumForName: F:Program Files/Steam/etc... Now, I think it may be a map problem since if I run one of the Spirit test maps, or some of the base half-life maps, they all work. If anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it, please let me know. You would think that the description Mod_NumForName would be a clue as to where that number was, but I honestly don't know

in Intro's using a camera or fixed play Post #9640
Maybe it's actually really easy and it just hasn't hit me yet, but I can't figure out how to get an intro like the one used in the They Hunger series. I've gotten the camera entity to work, and I can make it pan and move and follow a path but I can't get it to rotate to follow a moving subject. Also, I was wondering if there were any good ways to make a character frozen in place to make an intro like that in Op4. So far all I've been able to come up with is encasing the character spawn in a box of clip brushes, but then that wouldn't restrict them from crouching. If anyone has any suggestions please post them, I just started mapping but I'm picking up on things quick.
Thanks for your help
