Really having fun with this. Could make a few different variations of flags, for different corps/locations. Homeland flag, expeditionary flag, etc.

Oh, you can copy banners with another blank banner, that's mega helpful. If you had a skull in your flag it'd be a bitch to get a crap ton of wither skulls, at least now you just need one, and can copy it. How neat.

Wanted to mess around with this and Sledge so I started making a tiny city.After seeing some of the images above though I've decided to quit. I suck at mapping and so far my map looks like shit. Back to Minecraft.

I just got a U3 E4 and Silk Touch enchant on a diamond pickaxe. This is the greatest enchantment ever.

EDIT: AND NOW I HAVE A U3 E4 F3 DIAMOND PICK. BEST LEVEL 30 ENCHANTMENTS EVER!

Next plans include finish the iron grinder upgrade and attempting to make a creeper grinder for records and stuff.

More pictures of the progress on the CSC. Already have 2 white sheep in one of the finished containment cells. After this level I dig 4 more layers down to build the last 4 containment cells so I can have 16 in total. 1 for each wool color. So far this has been a long boring process, but I think in the end it will be worth the trouble. So much wooooooool.EDIT: Even more images, things are coming along nicely!EDIT EDIT: More pictures of the now complete CSC. The colors up top will go around in color order starting at red and ending at pink with white in between them, while the grays and brown will be on the lower levels. Already have a few colors filled out, 2 of every sheep color will be housed here. And under the watervator landing is a rather nicely sized storage space for wool.

Mmmmmmm dat new Korra. So good. They've gotten a lot better now, and all the back story is getting really interesting. I want them to bring back another certain old character, kept expecting her to show up. Not confirmed dead.

I finally got around to building my farms. Reeds, Carrots, Wheat, Pumpkins, Melons, and Cocoa bean farms are all set up. Also have some Cows, Pigs, and Chickens in my animal farm area. Just have to make the CSC and I'll be good to go on farming stuff. My brewing station and nehterwart farm are also functional, made some potions for my nether travels. Still trying to get enough books for my enchant station. Overall my base is pretty much self-sufficient.

EDIT: Construction on the CSC has began! Still have 10 more layers and the rest of the current layers to dig, gonna take a bit.

If you do switch will you be able to get the map still? I really like what we've all done. That's assuming you switch before 1.8.

Hopefully they fix it soon. Just tried playing for a bit, I can see how it could get really annoying.

Bloop, haven't had time for MC the last week or so, so many youtube videos to watch. I'll try to get on today when the problems are all settled.

The 5th and 6th pictures are really neat, the fog is super cool looking. I went up a mountain a few days ago an took some shots. Here's a panoramic I took, it's a bit big.

I've been into photography for the last 3 and a half years but I've never really posted here since I really suck at it. Though I'll post some of my better pictures for fun. I use a Canon Rebel T3, and do I love the hell out of it.

First off is one of my favorite pictures, it's an HDR of an old fire engine I took in November last year. I don't know why I took a picture of it at all, no one else seemed interested in it(we were on a field trip).Next up is from the same area is a panoramic picture I took, that even though I thought looked horrible, I got a small scholarship for somehow. I like how all the old vehicles are sort of just all together rotting away. I actually put this picture up on display in an old peoples home when they asked my school if we would.And finally I'll post this picture from November 2012, I really liked how the riverbed looked, I may have upped the vibrancy just a bit :p. I managed to get an Honroable Mention for this one in my state's fair. The area where this was recently got closed down late March because of forest fires, really hope it's still as beautiful as it was when I was there.So yeah, that's just a few. I have a lot of albums on my Facebook, and a I have a few pictures on my website. Hopefully I get better, I don't plan on stopping taking pictures anytime soon, I may be bad but it's a lot of fun.

Internet is borking out, and I'm barely awake, seems I fixed the grinder. Just have to remove some dirt from the secondary spawn tomorrow when I get on so that those golems can flow down into the main area. Should all work now :D.

EDIT: I can confirm it works. AFK'd for a small bit and it's working fine. Not sure what the ETA for getting the third one online is. But when I do it should be a fast process to get iron.

It's broken Well, half broken. Only one of the spawners is working, because the villagers at the bottom spawner don't want to get up to having 10 villagers, which is the minimum for golems to spawn. Not sure how to fix at the moment. Might have to catch and cure another zombie villager.

EDIT: I transplanted a villager from the secondary spawner to the primary, so now the primary is up to ten, and the secondary quickly mated and are at 10. AFK'ing with the grinder tonight to see if this fixes the grinder.

Might post more images of my projects I've been doing. I've had to dig 3 holes from above Y60 to Y12. two of them are 9x9, and one was 5x5. Fuuuuun.

Not sure about OP4 but I'm able to install BS without having HL1 installed. I just tried it out of being bored atm. Oddly enough it allows me to install OP4 too. Didn't even need the CD key on the case. What.

Meanwhile I haven't touched Minecraft in days since I won that spleef tourney. Shadowrun Returns is taking up all my free time >_<.

I got the Megaton edition of Duke Nukem 3D a while back on steam. Really fun games. Duke it out in DC(Or whatever it's name was) was really fun. That games great.

Yeah this is hard. Hard to remember what expansions really were fun and brought new life to the game. I'll try, some of my favorites have already been mentioned though.

3.Oblivion: The Shivering Isles(2007)
4.Blue Shift(2001)
5.Finding a final one was hard, but if unofficial content counts as Add-ons, then I'd like to mention Brutal Doom. Otherwise it's a tie between Fallout New Vegas:Old World Blues and Skyrim's Dragonborn DLC.

And I suppose I'll explain each like everyone else tried to.

So first up Red Alert 2:Yuri's Revenge. I love this game. I love Command and Conquer, but this will forever be my favorite CnC title/expansion. It brought new campaign branches and a whole slew of improvements from the base title. It was amazing. I still have my original discs of RA2 and YR. They will always have a place in my heart.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Standalone DLC(The best kind!), this was a kick ass twist on FC3's mechanics and just shows how awesome games can get. It was advertised as a retro 80's action flick styled game, and did it deliver. From the artistic styling to the music, it just reeks of old action sci-fi movies, somewhere between Rambo and Tron. One indestructible badass american versus and army of evil robots. And that theme song, THAT FREAKING THEME SONG. Just awesome.

The Shivering Isles, this one was interesting. A friend had shown me Oblivion just a few days prior, and I was in love, it was amazing, I immediately begged my mother to buy me the GOTY edition for my computer, it took a week or so but finally she said fine and I played that game day and night(thank god for summer). Finally coming upon the portal to the Shivering Isles, going through the portal just made the game feel different, gone were the forests of Cyrodiil, instead replaced by a bizarre landscape, with two different and unique sides. The creatures were odd and the main character of the expansion was hilarious. It was a really fun experience. I'm tempted to pick up the game on Steam if I can muster up enough funds to afford it. Although I fear it won't hold up to Skyrim and such. I still have the GOTY disc I got all those years ago.

Half-Life:Blue Shift. Yes! I loved this expansion, I, like the other games, still the original HL and BS discs. Opposing Force was fun, but Blue Shift really brought me in, being able to play as a security guard was just fun, it went from "Oh, fix an elevator? Well this is boring." to "HOLY FUCK ALIENS FUCK YOU I KNEW THIS WAS COMING WHY AM I SURPRISED?!?". Oh and Barney went to Xen, come on. the HD model pack also improved the experience a little I think. Was just a really fun expansion to the story of Half-Life.

I have 3 here in 5th, and one might not count, so this will be short. First off, if it counts, my number 5 is Brutal Doom, an add-on for Doom I and II. Basically makes the game a hell of a lot more fun and has way more gore than any game you've seen in the last few years. If that doesn't count. Old World Blues for FO:NV or Skyrim's Dragonborn. Old World Blues takes you to a cool research center and has you fighting robo-scorpions, fuuuun. And Dragonborn takes you to a cool new(or old I guess, if you've played Morrowind I think(I never played :p))island, and has new creatures to encounter, and new environments to discover. Seriously, that realm with all the books (Forgot it's name) was really cool at parts.

Something of note, Halo 3:ODST is a standalone game, but was planned as an expansion. ODST is my favorite Halo title personally, and would have definitely made it to the top 2nd/3rd place if it counted.

Well, I made it, 4th Survey Corps Expedition has been a success. The mushroom isles have been claimed for the free peoples of TWHLia(or whatever the hell this is). Not sure if I should run to the mesa or what. Bit sleepy.

Heading off to sleep, when I awake I'll start work on a railway to the portal from the CARTS station. That way transporting tools and materials won't be such a butt. Then after that I'll make a portal in the mesa biome and add a small rail between that portal and the mushroom portal in the nether. Adding another line to the station for that would be a waste of iron and gold.

Nether overview render sounds like it would be an indecipherable mess. Oh I'm under that rock? No that one! No no that rock I'm under! Anyways, that would be helpful, I have the materials to make portal on me right now too. Math shouldn't be too terribly hard.

Yep. Already planned out the expedition route. Going to mushy island then mesa. Gathering food and moving out.

Comparing this to the iso is challenging, but I think we shall prevail, the 4th Survey Corps expedition into the wild unknowns of the server shall begin soon. This is my destiny.

Made a video hopefully explaining what the CARTS station is/does. I had a few brain farts since it's pretty late, but I think it's somewhat understandable. Hope this helps!

It. Did. At one point my boat randomly broke. That sucked. I have pictures of cool stuff I found to the northwest, roofed forests and such. Was looking for a mesa biome. No luck

Yes, each button changes which track you exit on and go on towards that destination. The tracks just need to be hooked into the station with an inbound/outbound track. All of the inbound tracks are funneled into one track so that they all lead to the platform. Then you can go on to somewhere else or leave the track.

And go for it I did.

I split the process of station/rail building into two phases, Phase I, CARTS station and base rail construction, as well as renovation of the existing tunnel to the surface of the nether from the TWHL Town portal, and Phase II, pretty that shit up. Phase I is about 90% done, just a few more rails to the track and it's ready to go. Phase II is about 20% done, some sections of the rail look nice, but most are just netherrack walls and ceilings. Then I just have to make the area around the surface portal at the iron grinder look nice, and it's all done.

Quick question related to one of my earlier questions about a transit authority. I mentioned having central(in/near TWHL Town) CARTS stations. I'm planning to build on in the nether, but I have to ask would anyone really consider linking up to it? At minimum it would have 5 connections going in and out of one spot, but could easily be expanded with more stations with 5 connections each. I'm just curious if anyone would even use it. I don't even have a place to put it yet, so that's why I'm asking before I start/find a place.

Basically It's a floating square that Iron Golems spawn into and fall into lava, they die, and you get 4-5 iron and a poppy or two. They take their sweet ass time though, and the one I built averages about 21 iron an hour. Nice if you just AFK and go watch a movie or something. They only work if someone is actively in/near the chunk that the grinder is in.

It's worked out great for me so far since I'm doing a lot of things at once, I don't have to worry about mining iron for picks/rails. It's automagically there.

EDIT: Decided that a nether rail should take precedent since it'll be shorter and cost less resources. Building a base around the portal, now to figure out how to get the rail from it to the TWHL town portal :/

Started construction on a nether rail between my secret base and the iron grinder. Overland Rail to TWHL town is next since I have the framework set up for that, and working in the nether at the height I'm at is an ass. Having this path will hopefully speed up the process a bit as I won't have to go far between the two locations.

I'd try if I didn't suck at mapping, and if I wasn't working on another map atm. Hope one of the rooms is spaced themed, looking forward to playing this.

Working on a rail/nether connection to TWHL town. Rail will probably come first since the Iron is nearby.

Output is about 21 iron pre hour. A tad slow, but faster than mining I suppose.

Since I built the thing I figured I'd make some rules for it:
1. Anyone can use it.
2. If someone is there and they are AFK, the iron is theirs, they AFK'd for it. So you can wait until your turn.
3. Don't break/place blocks. You'll just muck the thing up.
4. Seriously don't break my iron grinder please.

Tl;Dr: Don't be a shit. Use your brain.

Ask me in game for Coords if you want to go to it that bad, but for now the rail connection will be best bet on getting to it. If you see me on and I'm not responding it's because I'm AFKing for iron for rails.

My base shall not be breached! However the thing I'm building at sea might be. That will have a rail to TWHL town/my base as soon as I can afford the rails for it.

I was making a nether portal and it kept not working, then I found your guide, and my portal works now. It was frustrating til I found that.

EDIT: Would anyone be interested in a central transit system? I've noticed little to no rails on the map, and the ones that are there are tiny enough that they could be assimilated into a larger more organized system easily. This would just help with expansions and what not. I think it would be a benefit in the nether more than anything else. Having a few centralized CARTS stations instead of a bunch of random tracks seems like a better idea. That is if anyone even expands and needs minecart tracks.

Rimrook's Nether Guide

Thank you Based Rimrook. I fucking love you so much right now. Greatest thing ever.

I built about a small walk from TWHL town, maybe 1-2 minute walk if you know where you are going, just North of the town. It's not that I don't like you guys. I just need space. You guys have plenty of cool houses there anyways. Only a few hours in but I have a lot of Iron, Redstone, and of course some Diamond. So much cobble though. All the cobble.

Outside:Inside:It has everything I need, farms, bedroom, soon adding a nether portal, and I have a rather large storage room. It's nice and cozy.

Sony started so strong, it was amazing, but they ended pretty weakly. That ending was a borefest. Really sucked. C+ from me. They tried.
