I'll willingly host a contest~! I do it all the time so its not really a hassle and I'm good a keeping shite on schedule.
I'd just need to know whether you guys like prizes and stuff, and if so what type of stuff? Also, would need help judging (since I'm not exactly the all knowing mapping extrodinary, and I would probably be judging on whether it looks good and plays nicely), but that would be easy I'd get Scotch to help me and anyone else that would like to assist but not compete.
Hell, I'd be willing to organise monthly contests if you guys were interested. XD

The last cave system Scotch and I explored in we came out with 25 diamonds and a shite tonne of everything else. We've been having no problem with the ores, luckily.

Also textures come later ;P Wanna get all the Brushes finished first. I can tell where everything is (I kinda have the whole thing planned so its easy to tell where I am and where everything should go). And design-wise, I'm not finished with the house, so textures can definitely wait XD

Anyway second map ever, I still have so much left. That's only one third of the actual brush stuff, I still have to texture (as you can see) and add entities ;-;

I remember no beds... I think I got minecraft like two weeks before they added beds. It was the time when I use to make spawn my home, and never went more then 500 blocks away. XD Ahhh, the good old days.

Could always not use mods, and have like a death count or something and be like who ever gets the less deaths in a month get a pot plant. XD

Could do like every fortnight-month you change mods and then for a weekend there can be like a group events/activity/contests or something before the change. Like you could do a month of UHC then to celebrate the change over play like a couple games for Build To Win.
And if we run out of mods we could do a vote on which mod was the most popular do it for another month or two, then vote for another one.
