Put the map in your valvemaps folder and then run the game with the console, then type in map map's name. And there, you've got your map loaded.

Well I got past the starting map tutorial and I'm in Intermediate right now, and no, the map has no leaks, and I do have the light entity. It's probably that the lights are too bright but I don't know how to change the brightness. If anyone can help, appreciated.

Hey all I have this problem with my maps brightness, if I choose a.....hmmm....let's say a texture of a light colour, like yellow for example, it gets EXTREMELY bright when I play it and can't see anything. Hope anyone helps out a poor Newbie on his first days.
