Welp, I figured out what was the problem. I used a .MAP file instead of a .BSP. Oh well, everyone starts somewhere.

Actually, yes. I did, but I thought you were talking about something else. I edited it already. Sorry about that. It's still not working, anyways. I looked everywhere.

For example, show me which things to edit in the file.

No, but I don't see how I can. Can you go into more detail?

So, again, like my last (first) thread, I'm having problems with mapping. Except, with a mod. Whenever I start up my mod, click New Game, and choose Medium, Hard, Easy, whatever, the box just disappears and the map won't load. I used a c1a0 map from BSPViewer, although I changed it. I've been trying to fix it. Again, sorry if this website already addresses it. I haven't really been on here for long.

Ah. I see. Sorry for all this, I'm quite new to this.

As you can see from the title of this post, I'm having trouble finding the right programs for my troubles. I'm quite new to mapping with Valve engines and also new to The Whole Half-Life, so I am sorry if there are things that are already on this website. I am trying to decompile a certain map from the original Half-Life, c1a0b, because I'm going to make a fan made expansion pack with another friend. I've tried things such as BSP2Map, and it works.. Except when I test it in Half-Life, all the textures are in weird forms, and it's very laggy, until I reach the next map, it all goes back to normal, due to I think it loading up the next map. I've been googling, slightly going on the Valve Developer Community, and other things.
