i have a question....how can i put papers or another similar stuff on a table without they looks like a block papers....i need create papers on a table but really thins papers( just one paper...not a "block"....)

i dont know if my english is rigth please any help would be good

i hammer i create a block veri thin but the apperance on the table is like a block..not like a single paper....

CHECK THE NAME OF THE TEXTURE....THEN IF YOU ARE COMPILING WITH THE HLZT LOOK IN THE HAMMER FOLDER FOR THE FILE LIGTHS.RAD...OPEN IT WITH THE NOTEBOOK AND SEARCH FOR THE NAME OF THE TEXTURE.... MAYBE YOU ARE USING A TEXTURE THAT HAVE AN OWN BRIGTH PROPERTY....

WELL I?VE VISITED EJOOP PREFABS....ITS SUCKS!...WHO THE HELL POST SO MANY WEIRD STUFF...LIKE A CAR THATS CROSS A HIGWAY...BUT WHEN YOU COMPILE.... THE F**** DOESNT WORKS AND SO A LOT OF STUPID STUFF.....

I WANT REAL PREFABS!.... SOMEBODY KOWS ABOUT AN IRC FSERVE OR FTP ABOUT THIS?

somebody know how change the game title when the game just start?
the ones that say half - life on a black screen just before the train go deep on black mesa complex?

i know about worldspawn and the option show title...but i mean CHANGE THAT SCREEN that fade out before the train on HL firts map!

i mean the default decals from the game in action....

when you hit something with the crowbar....a little black spot comes on the object...as well when you use c4 explosive the fire on explosion leaves a "black star" on the floor....i cant see those images when i play the game from my mod folder (the decals.wad is on it)...but when i play HL valve is works fine!

FINALLY I CREATED MY OWN MOD FOLDER WITH CUSTOM WADS....THE COMPILE PROCESS IS RIGTH BUT WHEN I SHOT A WALL OR BLOW UP A BOX THE NORMALLY BURNED STAR OR THE BULLETS HOLES ON WALL , EVEN THE BLOOD DECALS ON WALLS DOESNT APPEAR!....

THE CONTENT CONTROL IS FINE....THE NORMAL GAME FROM VALVE WORK FINE BUT I COMPILE FROM MY OWN FOLDER WITH THW COMAND -GAME "MY GAME"....THE FOLDER CONTAINS THE LIBIST.GAME, THE MEDIA FOLDER Y DLLS...ALL FINE!...THE MAPS RUN OK ...BUT THE INK SPOTS OF BULLETS DOESNT APPEAR, THE BLOOD NEVER FLOWS,

MY IDEA IS MAKE WORK A NEW MOD THAT DONT DEPENDS FROM THE VALVE FOLDER...

IVE SEEN...MODS WORKING SO FINE..

AHHH..THE HAMMER IS RIGTH????

i've created a new mod folder named "xenovista" i figure thats my mod singleplayer... but i work with a custom wad "megawad" file that contains a lot of new textures...

in hammer everithing looks well but when compiling, the game launch a message box like this "couldnt find valve megawad.wad

the wad file is stored in my mod folder "xenovista", the configuration of hammer paths are well (mod folder: ...xenovista)

but my cuestion is....is extrictly nessesary that wad file is stored on valve folder?.....
i just put it on my mod folder....what can i do?...

i other case the way to embebed wad file within bsp map as shown in tis web tutorials doesnt work on my hammer....heeeeeeeelllllP!
