okay i have GFCScape up and running and i have accessed halflife.gfc and i can see all of the game files and what-not, but when i right click a folder (foe example Valve) it opens an extract window with "extract gfc item", Make new folder, ok and cancel buttons. but now what? make new folder does nothing, cancel and ok, well, they just close the window. what do i need to do 1st? im trying to make hammer work for steam but am failing

where can i get Panda Platinum? is it freeware?:D

what does this mean?

when i test my map via the F9 key, the map runs a-ok but the prefabs and entities(except light) do not appear, there are no leaks, so hats wrong?

help, i cannot find func_buyzone in the entity list on the left whe i select the entity tool do i need to select an option to enable this? and yes i have set hammer to the CS preference ie i can set hostage starts and bomb targets and such.

i have them downloaded but i cant asociate (spelling?) them with hammer as wen i search my directories for it it doesnt show, and wen i run it it deletes itself, where can i get a reliable download for it?

i am using the downloaded steam version of halflife also if that matters :

when ever i try to test run my map it runs through the compile procces window and the a fatal error appears saying "could not find filesystem dll to load. what does this mean? i followed the tutorials to set up hammer and it still happens every time i repeat the tutorial instructions. the map if for original HL
