my damn map is always dead...
I NEED LIFE IN IT
i done texturing good, i added ppl i created atmosphere with light... yet it is DEAD.
i need help if i am ever gonna make a good map...
and i need sound... i cant get sound in them.
how can i add the sounds of crickets outside or the computers inside... is there anyway i can make a sound of a lot of ppl talking like in a meeting ??? or something ??? all help will be great! ty

an ambient generic

just set it up to play whatever sound you want

You can also use custom sounds provided they are .wad format.

I got loads free off the internet e.g. I was making a scary mod and searched scary noises.

I got tons and even cool songs like phyco etc

and about the sounds,you must get Wally 1st in order to access pakO in the valve file because there are sounds of half life in it so that would help you to chose sounds and when you chose the sound you wanted to be in your map use ambient generic (look at the hl entity guide for more info) just write this in the wav.name;ambience/crickets.wav in there and thick the flag play everywhere (or whatever you want)

If you don't have wally, use halflife model viewer (NOT THE ONE THAT COMES WITH SOURCESDK)
