Hey again!

Now I got a new problem. When I make a door, the axel where it's supposed to be, is moved far, and not in the brush at all. It's like it's moving around the blue, red and green thing, showing x, y and z.

Here is what I'm talking about:

Is this a func_door_rotating? Is the ORIGIN brush in place?

Well, everytime I place a ORIGIN brush, the map wont run. Don't know why.

Have you selected both the origin and the brush that is the door when you tie them into a entity? Any particular error when you load the map?

Well, the tut says that they should be in the same group, and I've done that.

Any special place I should put the origin brush? Over the over, in the door, one the side, buttom?

The ORIGIN is the location where the brushes turns. In short: It's the axle.

Yea.. I know! But it's still not working. I think I'm getting the error because they aren't tied together. But to tie is the same as them being in the same group, right?

Step by Step, to summarise all the above.

Make Door Brush. DO NOT turn it into an entity.
Make Origin Brush. (Axle)
Place Origin Brush where you want it to be, but remember that the door will rotate around the center of the Origin Brush.

Select the Origin Brush and the door (Both Highlighted), and hit CTRL+T.
A property box appears, Select "Func_door_rotating" and assign it's properties.
Test it.
If it doesn't move the way you want it to, then click IG (Ignore group) and select the Origin Brush only and move it. Or change the func_door_rotating properties.
Test it.

When they say group, they actually mean Tie both brushes to an entity.
