But seriously I used to make webpages a long time ago. My experience is locked away in my mind but one day I will unlock it.
My point being that I always used to have a welcome message type page for new comers. Once they saw it, it would not show up again unless they cleared their cookies.

...anyways, flash intros are generally made for bands or products, since people will be buying something and need the wow factor. They are generally aimed at people who only go there once, but it wouldn't kill anyone to bookmark the next page.
