A challenge. See what you can get at typing on the Finland Fishing text for two minutes, here. Only one try allowed, really, otherwise you'll know what to expect to type :).

I got 88 WPM at 97% accuracy.

Eww, Java. Sun's stupid Java Machine doesn't work so I can't try it now. I tried it ages ago and I recall getting 78 wpm, 0 errors, 100% accuracy. Although it took a few attempts.
m0p m0pIllogical.

7 errors, 70 WPM, and 95 % accuracy, even though this is about my 3rd try. On the first, I didn't do much of it. On the second, I didn't know it was 2 minutes (I put 1 minute and had about 5 errors, 65 or something WPM, and 97 accuracy). On the third, I finally got the settings right.

My results for my first go:
  • Gross Speed: 57 WPM
  • Errors: 3
  • Accuracy: 94%
Not too great, but I just woke up. I'm still tired. ;)

Well, the only problem I had was when I made a mistake, instead of keeping typing (Incorrect Grammar), I just went back and corrected it...

I lost like 10 WPM there...

I'm known as a "Spastic" typer and clicker, which makes me exceptionally good at CS.

Well, good luck in all your essay writing endevors...

I personally had no problem with essay writing. It came naturally to me. I enjoy writing, but I will never make a carrer out of it here in America, since I'm a Conservative Republican. Almost every writer/actor/newperson/musician here in America is Liberal, so I will have a hard time finding a carrer that suits me...
