You don't fool us with your cover saying it's a compo when actually you just want us to make a mod 'FOR' you!

I would have believed you if you didn't say:

i havent figured out the prizes yet. but ill post once i get the site up and running.

Listen, little man, no one's gonna join a competition that gives no kind of e-penis status at all.
You haven't even got a website.

No one (except maybe your AIM friends-) will join that competition.
Writing with shitty cs english doesn't help your cause either.

WTF!? is the whole world against me starting a website just for people to post their maps and maybe win something for their hard work?!?!?! is everybody a dickhead today? did i step through the twilight zone??!?!? i know i would like to win shit for my hard work and let others download what i worked so hard on!! so please dont post a reply. i dont wanna hear it! PS: AIM IS FOR FAGS LIKE ZOMBIELOFFE!" closed minded bastards"

Truly, AIM doesn't even exist on this continent.

Well, first off: You write like a baby. If not like a baby, atleast a cs teen.
'???' and '!!!'s everywhere (plus some quite annoying abbrevations). Second, your paragraphs are quite bad. I don't think you clicked enter a single time on the above post.

As for your competition: Sure, you're free to start a competition. Everyone is free to join it and you're free to give prizes to anyone who enter.
I'm also free to criticise you in any way I feel satisfying.

My first post was actually directed as a helpful comment, even though it might have appeared quite negative or even mean.

I'll run my point again.
Your competition won't be very attractive because:
1. No one knows who you are.
2. You haven't got a website (and when you do get one, it'll probably be a template of some sort, hosted on freewebs).
3. You write in cs-english. "wth, r, u" are not english words.

I suppose it was my fault Zombieloffe because my post was above yours and it seemed a bit negative. He must have read both of ours at the same time and got the same reaction.

rat808, I would be happy to join your compotition just to test out my skills with source. I dont really need a prize or anything. Get a theme going and I'll start working on it. Do you even really need a website? Would it be ok if we just used this thread? Or would the admins strike us with lightning? If not freewebs and geocities are fine, but I would like a HL2 compotition.

Jolly true, Loffe, and I don't actually know of anyone using AIM anymore.

What is AIM exactly?
I hear about it but I have never seen it...My guess is that it's a type of msn / IRC...

Sorry for the negative's. I am in a bad mood, because i got fired. I also have the abillity to type, and speak correctly. I am just too lazy most of the time to notice my mistakes.
No, i do not use " Ao Hell". and i am currently constructing my website using Microsoft Frontpage 05.
Anyone is able to join once it is up, and i have figured out the bugs. Also if you must know Vallian88, My first idea for a theme is going to be "The Outdoor Feeling". Give me the feeling of being free outdoor, with the sense of no limits or restrictions. For either HL2, or any existing mods.(HL2 Based).
The first prize will be small "of course, im not rich" probobly $20.00 us currency.
Nothing official yet, but will be a reality soon.

Thank you for listening to my crap. --> Daniel. ;)

Wow, that was alot better. Now you radiate intellect and skills instead of haxing and being "1337".

Would one recieve this prize in europe? Seeing as how the transport costs will probably be higher than the prize itself..

E-transfers? Paypal?

They're probably the best option, especially if the contest is open worldwide. (Though sending $ to Canada is cheap, but that's irrelevant.)

You're saying Canadians can't map? ;)

No, actually, and I was sending $ to a mapper from Canada (We're pooling up for Xdrive FTP for BM:S.)

Just saying that if you're opening it worldwide, it's cheaper and safer to use PayPal than send things via post. (Though mailing stuff to Canada is inexpensive, Europe and the like certainly aren't. Might as well keep a standard shipment system aye?)
