If you would allow me I could produce a tutorial on using the basic tools and modeling techniques in softimage.

Ok i will probly commence it in a few weeks time after I have finished all of my end of year tests and such. How fafr do you think I should take complexity wise?

You might want to do different difficulty levels if you're interested. (Introductory to XSI, Intermediate, Advanced?!) That would be totally awesome.

Talk to a moderator, you have to give them the idea, then the tutorial.
There was a Readme in the tutorial area that told you how to Submit your Tutorial, but I can't find it, they must have deleted it :

Yeh I was wondering where that went.
Rabid Monkey, sounds good should I focus on the modeling of a single object or just using the tools in general?

Pictures.

In a modeling tutorial pictures are the key of showing people what to do. Since modeling is different from mapping etc.

You might want to focus on the tools, but definitely apply them relative to an example object.

Speaking on tutorials, I thought on emailing an idea to andy but I want to make sure any one needs it!(If nobody wants it I'll post an example map)
Remember in xen those flying monsters that shoot electricity! Those things that look like an electric fish! Does anybody wants to know how to make these? If I'll post a tutorial it will explain how to use Func_tracktrain, Func_train(a little),pathtrack ,path_corner(a little) and Env_beam(a little)!! ;) I know some of these stuff are allready explained in some tutorials!

Yeh Haboi there like preety much different although there are a few similarities. Ok guys i'v started brainstorming for objects that are real but use preety much all of the modeling tools needed to create almost any other object. I'v made a sort of ornamental sword with the focus being on the handle. I'm just rendering it and I'l have some screenshots up later. I know it sucks but what ya think? Any other suggestions for models?
