I have just acquired Counter Strike Source v_ models for 1.6.
(For those who want it, link is http://netten.pl/~gnat/counter-strie-source-weapon-models.zip , but there is only the v_ models)

So I converted the Source sounds into MONO to work in 1.6.

However some weapons share the same sounds (TMP with Glock) and I want the sounds to be seperate... So can I edit the TMP model to use another sound instead of sharing? (btw the shared sound is clipin1.wav, clipout1.wav)

Decompile the model, rework the sounds in the qc file and recompile. by the way, http://www.csbanana.nu now has high quality Source conversions in the making. So far the galil, ak and sg550 have been done. The skins aren't blurred.

I don't think you can if it's defined in the code, look in some of the res files and such and see if they hold any relevant information.

Open the gcf file and in the sound folder you can see the name of the sounds. Just make a custom sound and place it in /User Name/counter-strike/cstrike/sound/weapons :)

Example: ak47-1

Thats the ak shooting sound.

Decompile the model, edit te qc file for the relading animation, and recompile I've done it a hundred times to perform the exact same thing he's asking.

that's right the QC file IS the code "Quake C", created by carmak so
when you compile the model you change the code of the model
