how do i set it to allow only the HL2/CS:S textures and not any of the regular HL and CS textures?
cuz when i create a map it gives some people the chekerboards and its hard for me to find the right ones

Pink checkerboards? I get those on valve maps in css, dont worry about it, add some cubemaps, and some properlighting, it should clear it up, I havnt found anyway around it, sorry :(

VALVe is missing some detail and world textures for CS:S (They still haven't fixed it ;|) - You can't set it just to show HL2/CSS content so just learn the keywords used for HL2/CSS stuff. 'building_template, brick, wall, inf, off, etc".

k i figured if you use one of the keywords that are listed already below filter it appears to only be HL2 textures

I mean using the filter field as opposed to keywords. The system isn't setup horribly recently for HL2 content (Notice the airexchange and other deleted texture keywords)

yea i know, but lets say you use the wasteland keyword its all HL2 textures, and etc
