hey guys
iw as wondering how to make it so a light gives of a glare
like if u played dm_lockdown, tehres the "scary chair" and some lights pointing at it and if u sit, it just glares out almost the whole screen
how do i make something glare like that?
cause i have a light in a really dark place and i want it to work like that

env_lightglow might have been that effect...Why not check yourself? There is a lockdown.vmf in the sdk folder HL2DM folder...

light_spots and a glow make that effect...

env_lightglow is more suitable for special applications - The tunnels in the coast chapters, for example.

env_sprite works better imo. Glow rendermode, constant glow renderfx.
