Click the little question mark beside the emoticons for general BBCode help, or look at phpbb.com.
For image posting, the image must be published to a webserver. If you can get the image with something like http://server.com/image.jpg, then you can use that. If you don't have access to a webserver, use something like the excellent ImageShack to upload images, then post them here.

Upload the image first, ImageShack even provides you with ready-made BBCode to copy and paste.

No,they will give you the url! It's the direct one I think and the ones for the forums aren't good for these forums!
