I think there are enough awards really.
I don't know if you are doing anything about this or not, but I think the mods should have something to identify themselves to other people easily. Have 'Moderator' under their name or something.
Because although there is the section above the forums, I didn't even notice Ant was there until recently, so they obviously aren't that noticable.

I'd add that if I added little award things by peoples' posts.
I think I'll cut down the maximum avatar sizes too, they're ridiculous. Must be murder for people on lower resolutions. Then I could fit this in.
PS: code is very nearly finished. The updating and testing will be on Wednesday at 0900GMT; TWHL'll be down for awhile while we check everything (and fix, if necessary, although it all seems fine).

1. By removing the Journals Alex will free up enough space on the front page for a Kitten Section.
2. The introduction of snazzy fluffy dice to the top will make it everything far faster and cooler.

Stop avatars being cached when they're being overwritten by new ones;Any comments, suggestions, questions, or complaints?
Reduce maximum avatar size to something sensible;
Delete files associated with comments when deleting the comments;
Random good map on front page (or map de la semana, etc.);
Latest award winner(s) on front (maybe);
Make PMs switch-off-except-for-mod-messages-able;
Better MV navigation (get by mod, etc.);
Sort out the MV submission and edit stuff with some tidy JS, and neatly enforce voting if in Completed;
Previewing;
Some kind of localised greeting on occasion would be pretty neat. See where the most people come from?
