Only the person with the last post can edit. This is to avoid people going back and rewriting their threads, etc.
(If I remember, it's similar to the admin controls, the little 'E' or 'Edit' under your name on your last post.)

found a bug. Journal entires time isn't showing in selected format. And 7th you should make that 1 entry per day thing look at our timezone because i wanted to write an entry few minutes ago and it said that i can't write it but now it's 01:02 and i wrote that last entry like more than 4 hours ago.

Thanks for pointing out the profile modification thing, I think I left some debugging stuff there :).
I noticed that the PM times seem to use SA time, though, I'll fix that too.

Only once, I think. If someone else has posted after you, you cannot edit it. Ask one of the mods to do it for you, if you desperately need it.

the 24 hour thingy sucks. lets say i wrote a journal entry today at 20:00 i wake up in the morning oh and something interesting happens i log in in twhl and i want to write an entry! but i can't do that until 20:01 so i have to wait all day. But maybe i can just login like 23:50 or something like that. So i'll have to wait 2 days to write another entry if i go to sleep earlyer than 23:50 next day.

do what i do whenever i edit entrys. Just put a plain simple ------- line through em. You can even but dates inbetween them and titles. Now if you mind, im going to turn my journal into a single entry. Which means alot of copying and pasting

SM- No special settings I know of. This is at my work station so it's under Windows 2000 Pro but I wouldn't think that'd make any difference.
I'll check again when I get home in a couple hours (Windows XP and Mac Safari) and compare.
It isn't a big deal to me, by the way. I mentioned it only to corroborate someone else who posted saying something similar.
