i dont actually play HL2, but from the screenshot i can tell you that 1)its too bare I can only see 1 on 1's at the moment. But apart from that if you changed propably some textures, and maybe a little more design into it and it would look nice for a 1 on 1

hmmm....it looks alot better then the first screenshot showed. If its your very first map then its relatively nice. Its rather basic structure though.

Make the map more detailed 
if it's a helipad so make the ground look like helipad. Ajust the lighning and add more detail! i know this is very early version of the map, but just do that.

yeh, maybe like archs to those pillars under the path that goes round the map, also, you could add things like crates and stuff to make your map more interactive

hmm, looks like a promising stairwell, all you would need to do after you've done it is to add a banister that goes up with it
