Ripped off Slashdot: "Hot on the heels of the announcement of x86 Macs, Apple announced a multi-button mouse, known as the Mighty Mouse. It appears that the entire surface is touch-sensitive, allowing the mouse to be programmed as a single-button, multi-button or scrolling device."

Here's a review. If Apple comes up with a Bluetooth version and proper Windows drivers, I might even consider buying it.

360-degree scrolling could be pretty fancy for mapping (if configured right). :)

Meet the mouse that reinvented the wheel. The scroll wheel, that is. At $49, Mighty Mouse features the revolutionary Scroll Ball that lets you move anywhere inside a document, without lifting a finger

It is a pretty nice mouse for documents, photos, etc. But it probably isnt the best for gaming.

Kinda usless for most of it's features have been done before or only for really lazy people. :tired: And the only use of the new buttons is to make people think it's cool! :

In the beginning, there was one button. Then there were two.
Except for Macs, which stayed with one button for simpletons for about another fifteen years.
