I am aaaalllmmost done with the first area of my mod, (The train ride) this area contains 6 total maps. I would like some experienced mappers to playtest the game thus far and give suggestions and notes. Once Elon FINALLY finishes his detail work, hasn't responded lately, I'll let you guys dl.

It should be done by the end of the month for sure, probably before. I've posted some of the maps on here a couple times, but since there changing all the time I took them down. But I'd be glad to let you see them.. in due time. Just have to finish off the last area and adjust a few things.

If I have some time when you're done with those maps, I could playtest them. Depends on schools busyness level though.

hey alright, I'm getting a good testing crew. I've been working on this mod for some time now. And you'll be able to notice how my mapping skills has improved with each level. I used to not use vertex manipulation, well, all that changed. And I'd clip everything I wanted to be cut randomly (like cliffs and whatnot) but stopped doing that. And I learned how to explore the pak file and utilize the in-game sounds, sentences, etc. and much more, and its all thanks to the people of this site! Thanks everyone!

Hey hey hey, calm down I'm improving the tarrein,adding reflections,more detail...ect So please give me more time! :tired:

And you don't know how hard it is to work with 1 unit grid all the time! Your walls makes it much harder and I also need to make sure there wont be any leaks! :(

I work with one unit grids. Easier to do detailed VM that way.

I didn't know I was going to let someone else do some detail work on my maps, let alone make reflections... sorry!!! I can see how using 1-unit thick walls might cuase unknown leaks throughout the level, but I've never had a problem with that.. I make the room first, no leaks.. then I add details, and make sure those don't have leaks. Never been an issue. But I suppose using 8+ units would be a good idea

And thanks for doing so, I appreciate the help. Things you don't need to mention about it for tips.
  • Make the tram unable to jump out of, Already in progress
  • Realign the texture in the last map tunnel, duh
  • And.. maybe you guys could tell me why my tram is having funny shading on it
