I recently installed gunman I can start a new game and it works perfectly but when I want to return to the main menu everything turns black and I can't do anything but to press esc to return to the game or press F10 to quit the program.

Are you running it stand-alone or as a mod for Half-Life?
IIRC you can just copy the mod folder to your Half-Life root and it will behave just like any mod. Try that.

Gunman is a game of it's own so I'll probebly need to make a liblist.gam. I'll try but any other ideas?

You don't need a liblist.gam, just copy the rewolf folder, thats all I did and mine works fine.

It's pretty nice if you think it as a SP mod instead of a stand-alone game. If VALVe wouldn't have bought it I'm sure people wouldn't be so harsh.

It only got some cool models and textures! I bought it a long time ago and I also have hl1,opfor and blue-shift.
