Common, we all know the best movie every was that American version of Mr. Bean!

Hope you're not being serious. That film, even though it had its merits, destroyed the innocence that the British TV series had.

G_KID, you liked Unbreakable?
That movie was kind of odd to me...

btw, think that DOOM movie will be any good?
Anyone who was around for the begining of 3d first person action games remembers DOOM...

I also heard a rumor about a HL movie, although they're still working on the script (Acording to the rumour)

Favorite movie.... hard to say....
Monty Python and the Holy Grail probably comes in first. Though I will also say Spaceballs and The Ring.

PS: Spacejam was a good movie... when I was 6.
PSPS: Doom is supposed to be a first person movie isn't it?

I didn't mind the remake of The Chocalate Factory. The film styling and the plot were more similar to the original Dahl story (and no singing, thank god). Love Burton's twisted/surreal worlds (Nightmare Before Christmas anyone)?

As for my fav film...I don't have one. I saw Adaptation recently, which was quite cool (its the "sequel" to Being John Malkovich).

Speaking of films, anyone hear the news on who the new Bond is gonna be? Personally, I think he looks retarded. Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan ftw!

I saw Doom, it got 1/2 Star out of 4 stars from the critics. I thought it was good, the First person part wasnt cheezy or annoying. the story was neat too, with some twists, although it didnt really follow the Doom story line. if it didnt have the Doom name attached to it, i prolly would have liked it more, since i was expecting a Doom-like movie.
thats my review

Top Gun
Several Peter Sellers movies that I can't choose among (Pink Panther probably the top)
Not really a movie but it was released to theaters: Robin Williams Live!

Pink Panther
Quality!

Imagine silly french accents...

Sellers: Does your dog bite?
Man: No.
dog attacks Sellers
Sellers: I thought you said your dog did not bite?!
Man: That is not my dog.

Airplane is very good, i also saw another funny film that takes the mic out of action films. I just can't remember the name...Very funny though.

Fifth element is also very good, and so was constantine.

Can't remember any other good films.

Pink Panther and the something pearl. or ruby.. or diamond was the funniest.

Completely at random, the 'boss's goldfish jumps out its bowl half way through his big speech and pushes him out of the window where he proceeds to land in a pond and spontaniously combust. quality

All-Time favourite afaik right now:

The Time Machine - With Guy Pearce

What sets this one apart from my other favourites is the amount of times I've watched it, which is prolly in the hundreds. Many times too while I'm doing something else, I'll have it in the background playing...

I feel the same about these others, which I've seen many times too:

Blade 1
Matrix 1
Aliens--The second one
Total Recall
Transformers: The Movie
Fight Club
Good Will Hunting
Bicentennial Man
The Patriot
The Last of the Mohicans
Freddy Got Fingered
100 Girls
Phenomenon with John Travolta
Dumb and Dumber
Assasins
The Professional
Star Trek II:The Wrath Of Khan

Yeah, and stays reasonalby true to the book.

There's another older version--which is also pretty good--that follows the book almost exactly.
