Please help me i have been tryin to make the map and test play it but for some reason i cannot test play the map.it keeps telling me "map not found on server"
: please yell me why

Make sure your compile stuff is setup correctly - http://twhl.co.za/tutorial.php?id=35 has more info. If so make sure the map is actually copied over there.

Are you making maps for Cs or Hl1?
For Hl1 you need to put the maps in valve/maps. If you have steam then the valve folder is somewhere in the steam folders! And if you don't then it's in the half-life folder.

Do you have steam or not? If you don't then place the maps in half-life/valve/maps

if everything is placed correctly, check the file name of the map. if its some thing like "look here.bsp" it wont work because of the space. add an underscore in place of the space or take the space out
