Could be because Hammer can't copy to folders with @ in the name. I used to have that trouble, until I started compiling by hand. Set up Hammer to copy the BSP to your desktop or somewhere, and copy the file to your CS maps directory by hand. Oh just one question, why are you copying it to your dedicated server? Wouldn't it be easier to copy it to your Counter-Strike maps folder for testing, plus, you should always name your maps correctly with de_ or cs_.

PS: Please take note of my wonderful grammar and follow suit.

Actually, m0p, if you look more closely, he seems to be leaving all the source files in the Steam tree and then copying the finished thing to his "My Documents".

Read our Hammer setup tutorials? Are you compiling with Normal or Expert? Try switching, that sometimes makes it work. Are you using ZHLT?

I think I saw "Access is Denied" in some thread.. sometime ago. Someone said something about not having Administrative rights causing that error.

It'll be shown when you try to do something to a directory or file which doesn't exist, too.

Is it possible to have dots in a folder's name and that hammer/half-life will have no problems with it?
