I am remaking my room map for source :)
You can find the original (although it is still out of date but oh well) here :

This is in superbeta form and still has alot to be added. But, it still has alot of open areas that need stuff to provide cover. If you see an open area anywhere that just demands a certain object please speak up. Any comments about the terrible textures and whats done so far is welcome :D

I totally forgot also... the tall dresser in the corner has a big ol' TV on it, desk has a monitor and PC... I can't figure out how to make the monitor/computer/tv models to be big enefough to fit the scale of the map so they havent been added yet lol.

If your room looks anything like that I feel very sorry for you, the green is making me feel sick just thinking about it. Do some more work, compile it, and then try again.

I don't think he is going to keep that green,,, right?

Use a darker wood color for the bed.
It looks so, unreal with that bright one.
Doesn't fit in.

Heh ok I'll make a more presentable map - as I said totally beta. The walls prolly will be the color but with lights and posters on the wall it will look better. Getting good textures is turning out to be a pain since HL2's textures look so good!

I had a couple aliases back in the day... Anonymous being one... I think Unknown was another... /wave at ZombieLoffe

I'll work on it and be back soon!

There is a tutorial on Snarkpit.net I believe about making models bigger :)

Looks ok but man your room looks like a prison cell :biggrin:

I'm more interested in the layout you crammed into that room. Is it any fun to play or just a killbox?

Anyway, yeah, some presentable screenshots and some shots from a players point of view would give a better impression methinks.

Aha!! so you were that Tyrant!!

To be honest, the room looks pretty bad. The Green texture does not fit with the rest of the room. It looks more like a HL1 map, kinda like what I imagined the rooms in 1984...

Compile it with some nice lighting, and post an improved screenie.
