i tried using this way http://twhl.co.za/tutorial.php?id=29

but i keep getting errors and it wont work i am using zhlt and hammer. can someone help me plz?

i see no difference between -wadinclude <wadname> and
-nowadtextures. Except that I know adtextures includes ALL textures used. if your using an entire set of custom textures, this is ok, but if your using a few custom texture and more defaults,
type -wadinclude wadname. of course, wadname would be the actual name of your wad. i.e.

-wadinclude edenica.wad

It actually doesn't metter if you type .wad in the end but they did it with ZHLT.wad so I'm doing it with every wad. :glad:

how do i get it to launch steam instead of 1.5 cs?

zerokool - read Seventh-Monkey's post.

The very least of your problems is launching anything at this point.

And don't worry about customizing textures or how the wad files are specified yet. Your basic setup is totally fubar.

i got it figured out. i found out which setting got changed. i just want to know how to get it to open steam instead of old cs cause it is annoying. and i know how to do the .wad thing too. all i want to know is how to launch steam instead
