this question is about dead models again. i have a model that i want to be dead on my map. he doesnt have a dead animation though, only dieng. is there anyway that i could add a dead animation to it? or could i delete the frames of the dieng animation up to the point where he is on the ground? Or anything at all?
thanks, please let me know

Yes, you can edit the animations if you decompile the model. I don't know how... try looking?

Use a scripted_squence with putting the dying animation's name into the action animation part. Then tick leave_corpse and die when finished flags. ;)
And dont forget the scripted_squence must be triggered in order to make it work.

You don't really need that entity in CS..
Unless you make dead dudes

Im sorry i couldnt reply sooner. i was busy with school, lol.
yeah i followed the tutorial, and what i came out with was a dead guy (didnt know it needed to be DEAD, not dieing animation) who is standing, and.. looks a little dawn-of-the-dead-ish.
to Seventh-Monkey: right. i did decompile my model and tried to on milkshape, but i have no experience there and couldnt figure it out

Saco: Im pretty sure there is no scripted_sequence on cs

also, if anyone is interested, i could send you the model i currently have, and if youve got the knowledge in milkshape3D (or your bored shitless), fix the thing for me? =D
send me an email if you are interested. :)
thanks
