Okey, I accept this is a very stupid question, but I honestly can't find where props are.

I was looking for prefabs, a train prefab to put into a map, and then I searched on the forums a bit and found that there are props instead of prefabs now.

And no matter how much I look I can't seem to find where the props are.

I have googled, searched the forums, looked at the tutorials, and I can't see any help.

So yeh, can someone show me where they are or whatever? :)

Props are models..
Like, a barrell or,, a pipe!

Prop_static, prop_physics and prop_ragdoll are the most used props

Static = An object that isn't bothered by the laws of physics

Physics = Got a mass, can be moved and obeys the laws of physics

Ragdoll = A very dynamic model, for example, a dead NPC, he needs to be very dynamic.

Ah thanks Seventh.

Thanks MadCow also for some random information :P

But another question, I know I could spend hours looking, but if one of you knows, then it is much easier for you to say.

Is there a prop or anything for a train? I can't obviously see one.
A train like the one you come into city 17 on would be ideal. :)

I believe the model is in the folder city17, make a prop_static and then properties, click browse and choose c17...
Otherwise try props_trianstation?

Which goes back to me asking, why do we need Source tuts ;)
I wrote a physics tutorial G_KID, too bad it has taken like 3 months to even get it noticed, otherwise you would not have had to create this thread...
