Who hates them?
Who loves them?
Who's older than 30 and never had one?
Please tell us your miserable experiences... :quizzical:

I've had one. The boss was annoying asshole - but it went well, got the job.

I had one on Tuesday actually. Its a placement funded by the government to get me out to work while I do I NVQ III course. I'm supposed to be starting on the 3rd of January, but there is some uncertainty about the days I'll be studying and the days the place will be able to 'fit me in' to work (they make it sound like THEYRE doing ME a favour by letting me work for fuck all).
I'm crap at interviews, I start to waffle like a madman (anyone whos ever seen Trainspotting; Picture the Spud interview after he takes "a little dab o speed, man" :) ).
The worst interview was when I went for a position as a Lab Assistant and then they asked me a few questions and realised I hadn't a fucking NOTION about working in a lab!

I've had about five or six job interviews, which isn't a lot. There more you've done, the easier they get.

I've only had one, and it wasn't very formal. Just for odd jobs stuff. I did some leafletting, but never got 'round to the promised computer maintenance stuff.

I am very good at interviews. My first job interview with my asshole of a boss went very well, and I got all the condition I wanted (a pay raise up-front, plus a bonus at the end of the year). I have a special talent at impressing older people. People usually fall in love with me after the interview.

I am equally good at impressing my in-laws when I first met them. :)

When you do an interview, just put on a fake face...

If I was myself, I'd never get a job!

... currently unemployed ...

Job interviews shouldn't be hard. Personally, I've never had one, but if you how to speak properly and express yourself, then they should be a piece of cake. I've had loads of formal meetings with our School Principle to discuss funding for various areas as well as asking for certain things.

Basically, all you gotta do is maintain your composure. Dress for the part too. Speak clearly, don't slur your words. Also, don't be too uptight: if you're not casual enough, your performance comes across as rehearsed.

Ha my first job interview was ok actually, I was nervous I admit and the lady boss was nice.

Glad I only worked for a week, I was ready to hang myself just as they said your free to go :tired:

I once had a job interview when the man tried to sexually harass me! Stupid jerk. :(

Needless to say that I didn't get the job. But I was proud that I stood up to him!

Only ever had one interview, but it didn't matter, anyone who applies there pretty much gets hired.

Had a lot of interviews, and every times I like them, because I feel at last in a professional environment, I think "omg that fucking boring life will at last end and I will at last get a new job, a salary, buy at last a new comp, new books, magzaines, watch movies, have a social life, meet people etc", and everytime for some reason "your profile doesn't fit with the job", while everything was ok some days ago, and that is lasting for six years now :| ...
