When my friend would join my server with my new map (with CUSTOM textures), my friend would get problems like "Cannot find SuperWeapon.wad". How do I fix this problem? Thanks.

I think (not sure) that your friend needs a copy of the wad as well. So if im right, give the custom wads to ur friend for him to put in his folder.
For Half-Life for example
C:/SIERRA/Half-Life/valve
(Haven't got a clue for CS)
Anywho im not too sure here but try it anyway and if im wrong, someone correct me

No you are right Anthony :) You can send out the file and save it in the /Half-Life/valve folder.

However you are going to have to send it out to everyone that connects to the server you are playing that map on.

Or

Create a RES file to upload it to the players

wadinclude works better cause you just do not have to worry about it.

;)

I followed what the tutorials on how to embed selected textures in my map, but it did NOTHING. I even tried the one that put ALL the textures in the map, but still NOTHING. If anyone wouldn't mind to do it for me, please tell me because I really need help here. Everything is done but the texture problem is keeping me from playing online with others.

BTW this is what happens when i try to embed the textures

** Executing...
** Command: Change Directory
** Parameters: "C:SierraCounter-Strikecstrikemapsexedir"

The command failed. Windows reported the error:
"No such file or directory"

** Executing...
** Command: C:PROGRA~1VALVEH~1toolsqcsg.exe
** Parameters: "c:sierracounter-strikecstrikemapska_knifeworld" -wadinclude <superweapons> -wadinclude <thankyou>

qcsg.exe v2.8 (Jan 31 2000)
-- qcsg --

********** ERROR **********
usage: qcsg [-nowadtextures] [-wadinclude <name>] [-draw] [-glview] [-noclip] [-onlyents] [-proj <name>] [-threads #] [-v] [-hullfile <name>] mapfile

Start by getting Zoners Half Life Tools 253 v1.7
The with the -wadinclude switch, take out the < and > from the wad name.
Also,
** Executing...
** Command: Change Directory
** Parameters: "C:SierraCounter-Strikecstrikemapsexe
dir"
There seems to be an error befor you start? Is this because of a path error?

Get Zoners, try again and if you get the error post the whole log.

the folder is not sierra/half-life/cstrike, it is sierracounter-strikecstrike.

sierra/half-life/cstrike for mod
sierra/counter-strike/cstrike for retail

Forward slashes are synonymous with backslashes in directory structures in Windoze.
