Ahh... People...

Exist a way to make the player stop at some point of the map??
Like, remove the controls, or something??? :

"Example: The player comes walking and falls in an electromagnetic prison (or something else), so, he tries to move itself, but, OHHH :o ... He is frozen (or something else again)..."

Func_wall_toggles are you friend.
Put a func_wall_toggle in the area that the player will be standing and put a trigger_multiple whever you want the player to stop moving. Have the trigger_multiple active the func_wall_toggle. Its not possible to remove controls from the player but you certainly can stop them from moving.

 Thanks Worldcraft, but it don't work like I need...

I need a way to lock the player in a train, but the func_wall_toggle don't move with the train... :nervous:

I'm trying to make a RollerCoaster, but, if the player moves inside the train, he falls... So, someone have any idea about what I can do in this case??? :aghast:

You make a "lap bar" brush that squeezes Gordon into his seat.

Make it also a func_train, so it moves everywhere he and the coaster do.

Same concept as moving elevator doors tutorial here, well, in theory anyway :)
