I need a light prefab or something of a flourecent light like the ones that go into ceiling tiles not the ones with 2 bulbs. Anyone have one or can make one? i need it soon

you mean like a prop_static?
Try a prop_static and then change the world model to the light you want. Theres a folder with lights but some of the other folders also contain lights. just type light into your filter

thing is i suck with lights and dont know how to do them i try the tutorials and i fail miserably ..ive tried the prop static but like i said i couldnt figure out how to get the light to collaborate with it

or any ideas on how to make an indoor building have realistic lighting.

cs_office lights are the proper drop ceiling models.

The prop is simply the model, not the source. To define a light source use a light_spot or light entity. Light entities are generally for testing or development usages or for special uses where omnidirectional light is required. Spotlights are used for areas that need certain control over their focus or appearance. I swear by them for all of my light sources.

Thanks if i found a prefab that a guy used that prop and i got to work like in office.thanks alot
