You guys do realise its an online game, right? You go around throught the eyes of the FBI guy and have to click on clues and such.

Yes it is singleplayer, i've known about it a while. It looks very good, if i was to get it, it would be for xb360, simply because it would run better than on my PC. It's got some cool features, like picking up any item around you ti wield as weapons, use of forensic tools (blue light to find blood), plus i think there is a supernatural side to it.

What's hard to understand? If there is a PC version, it'd run like absolute shite on my computer. The Xbox360 version would be optimised for performance and graphics (and from the screenies/movies i've seen it looks very nice).

Pff, says the guy who believes in any email sent to him... (Such as Habboi is a Fraud...)

Also to justify that stupid comment I thought Strider wrote:

"if i was to get it, it would be for xb360 simply because it would run better on my PC." It was early in the morning.

Alright girls, put your handbags away.

Ant: Anyone can make mistakes, as he said it was early in the morning, I am sure we all know that feeling. You should know better.

Habboi: 'Dont dig in old shit piles because all you find is maggots'. I am reffering too;

We dont want to go through all this again, so just leave it be.

Well, Habboi might sound like a forum noob even if he is a brilliant mapper.

I've read reveiws for Condemned and it sounds like a decent game. I'm pretty sure theres no multiplayer though.
It had a few faults, like poor character models, compared to the enviorments anyway wich are supposed to be really pretty in how ugly and dilapidated they are. Plus its supposed to pretty freaky and intense so i wouldn't recommend picking it up if you don't enjoy horror games. It might be worth a rent rather then a buy if you own an Xbox360, as it has very little replay value.

EDIT:I just checked on gamepot and the PC version is due out on the 11th of this month. I think thats just the american release date, and i'm not sure if you all live in America.

What on Earth makes Habboi a forum noob, or a noob at all? Just because he was tired and made a mistake!? I don't get it.

I don't get it.
nether do I actually, the term noob is to loosely defined. I don't think Habboi is a noob, even if I i'm not really sure what exactly the term "noob" means. Although i have been called a noob before in less freindly communities, for commiting seemingly simple mistakes.

I like the look of this game, it seems to be a Silent Hill meets Doom 3 type game. If I had a 360 I would pick it up, or maybe I'll get in on the PC, I am in America so I can pick it up soon :P
My girlfriend is into this kinda stuff too, so this will make a good game we can take turns with, that is if we can pull ourselves away from WoW... haha, fat chance on that.

pfft, WoW isn't a life replacement - it is a life enhancement. I don't let it interfere with my real life, I still go to school for 7 hours a day, and work for andother 3 hours, and in my spare time I play WoW. It helps that we play the same account (my girlfriend and I) because we switch off every our or so to take a break, that way the addiction doesnt set in.
I will admit, I have stayed up until 4:00 in the morning playing, but I get enough sleep after that, and carry on with my life.

After playing condemned, i feel its only proper to write a bit of a review of it...
The game recently got a very warm welcome from the Xbox 360 community, and to be honest, the only reason i think it got that positive response was because they didn't have FEAR to compare it with...
How to make a game like Condemned: Criminal Origins

First, take a completely un-original idea that has very recently been a huge success on the PC. In Condemned's case - F.E.A.R

Then, instead of using this idea cleverly and originally, masking its origins with great level design and gameplay, follow F.E.A.R to the smallest detail...
I mean, litterally. It's a couple of hours of playing condemned before you even remember you're not just playing fear on an over-rated console. I mean, it goes as far as pretty much using the exact same sound effects. The first level is such a blatant copy of FEAR that i'm amazed the Xbox community couldn't see that it's FEAR simply from screenshots... Ah well..

Then, create a large number of cool weapons, place them just before huge, difficult fights but forget to give them ammo No, really... It does this. I picked up at least 4 guns in the game, that i only used once because NEVER throughout the whole game did i collect ammo for them...

Finally, add a repetative (although pretty scary to begin with) combat system, sweeten in with some cool blur effects and call it your own game
The combat system goes like this - pick up something from the evironment.. "anything" was the impression i got from all the hype, but in fact, the 'weapons' are very obvious items, placed specifically in locations near bad guys, rather than in realistic useful places.
Each weapon has invisible block, attack and weight values.
And that's how it works. You have to block an insanely fast attack from an enemy thats jumped out at you (im talking split-second reactions on a console.. doesn't work) and if you dont, you get butt-raped. quickload

Oh, did i mention that one of the game's flaws was that it allows you to quick save in the most perilous of times, without telling you that its a stupid place to save... In HL2 for example, you always 'know' when there are going to be hideous raping zombies coming after you. And you 'know' if you have enough health to deal with them...

In condemned you dont, and maybe that's a good thing since it adds a fear element to the game, but frankly, i found it outright annoying as i had to replay several section from the last autosave...

Anyways
You have to block an insanely fast attack from an enemy thats jumped out at you (im talking split-second reactions on a console.. doesn't work) and if you do, you then proceed to whack it across the chin with your makeshift weapon. Then then next hideous creature, and then the next one.. That was fun- oh wait, more. Then the next one, and the next one, and a few more after that, and another.. Oh look, a bad guy.

Must. Stop. Getting. Bored. Of. The. Same. Model. Used. For. Every. Bad. Guy. In. This. Level.

Yargh!

Sorry, but the only thing this game seemed to have going for itself was incredibly uber animation, and some very impressive AI (or maybe it wasn't, but every level was the same so they could have scripted the attacks ffs)

Not worth getting when it's released on to PC. Get F.E.A.R
