hey guys its been a while, anyway, do u have to include the halflife.wad and liquids. wad and the other two default ones with ur mod? like can u use the textures from them and not have to wadinclude them or distribute them with ur mod?

u cna use em, you cna freely use the defalut cs hl opfor bleushift dod tfc and all the mods owned by valve, cuz these mods are owned by valve they become a kind a hl and you can use free all the stuff that is in it , like models wads and sprites :D

As long as they are in the Texture Tab when you map with Hammer, then HL will automatically call them up from the right place when it loads the map. But they HAVE to be in the Texture Tab.
There is no need to wadinclude them, and definitley no need to distribute them.
The only textures that need to be wadincluded are ones that are not standard retail .wads.

So basically, wadinclude anything which isn't halflife.wad, liquids.wad, xeno.wad and decals.wad. I got op4ctf.wad with my copy of opfor, but not all opfor owners have it.
