Satchmo, as interesting as your threads are, EVERYBODY with steam knows that... it just seems a bit pointless..

Admit it. It look HAWT like hell. I like the fast riding down the citadel part in the trailer the most. I see they will add some horror elements like in quake with those stalkers. Can't wait to see the finished product. :)

The hunter: What about those who doesn't have steam? Hm?
Maybe that would incurrage them to get it.

The trailer is awsome, I'm looking forward to it's release

It looks ok. I think many of the talents in the community could have done a better job, though.

I havent loaded steam in about 2 weeks now so I didnt know about it, goddamit I cant stop playing oblivion

Looking at the name, if its part of this whole 'episodic' bullshit the games industry thinks is the way forward I wont buy it. I want closure when I play a game, Im a frustrated completionist and I'm not going to play something where I have to spend months so someone at valve can work on some more levels and a crappy plot resolution (but hl2's plot was soooo gooodddddd!111)

How many people work at vALVE (not counting STEAM programmers)?
I dont know if they are already working on HL3, but their rate of releases (Lost Coast, DoD and some CS maps) in 18 months seems a bit slow. I know there's a lot of playtesting involved, but it kind of makes you wonder if their mappers really like what they are doing.
I always like to think what it would be like if they had me on their team :)
