Ok, Zombieloffe. You have quoted the goods and bads for my 2 city level, cs_big_city and cs_winter_city(being edited for more realism). On both of them you said that I had used "lame texturing". I really don't understand what "lame texturing" is exactly. Is it the etxtures themselves? Is it the way I put my buildings together? I need to know this so I can make cs_winter_city 5-start-worthy.

just from looking at the shots I can see that you've used entirely default textures and tried to make up for a lack of detail in them by using brushes. This almost never looks as good as it could with an adequate texture (or model to fulful the job)

Well, 'lame texturing' is many things.
Like using the same textures over a whole building/area,
or having textures not-very-goodly aligned, or having repetetive textures, or having just boring, undetailed textures.

Like my Nuclear 2 map for example. I used the most lame textures ever!

Um, so ou mean I should have multiple textures for the same building? I've never seen any buildings made of bricks then 2 stories up it changes to glass then 4 stories up it changes to wood.

Give me an example or something. I'm lost.

Hm, what I meant was, normal sqare buildings are kind of boring.

They variate different "Textures" and shapes, round corners. That's a good-looking skyscraper.

Thats a beautiful building. Sorry. I'm obsessed with cities. I like the openness and the environment of big buildings everywhere.
