This is the most amazing thing invented since the wheel.

My geek-happiness is off the scale!

nah, idea of logging on, etc, is just too much!! my mum uses something called Pro Desktop Calendar or something that is always on your desktop and is live - really customizable and low on resources - however, once again, she resorts to good 'ole pen & paper!

The benefit is that you can share the calendar with your friends, and you can access your calendar from anywhere.

Yeah, definitely, but I just... remember stuff. I don't plan much very far in advance.

During my pediatric residency, my calendar for the entire year was planned in advance. So I know exactly where I'd be at any time for the rest of the year.

I always thought that was strange.

Heh, "residency". They use that word a lot on Scrubs. Love that programme :).

"Scrubs", "Grey's Anatomy", "e.r."...they're all about the residency experience. The first one is about internal medicine, the second one about surgery, and the third one...obviously about emergency medicine.

It's the most interesting period of my life. Most rewarding, physically exhausting, and emotionally wrenching at the same time.

That's why they're made into T.V. shows.

On the DVD commentary for Scrubs, they had interviews with the actual doctors that Scrubs was inspired from. They said that Scrubs was the most accurate portrayal of hospital life.

All the cases on that show are real, by the way.
