when i go to create game the map i made isnt listed and i put it under half life/valve/maps

if it has info_player_deathmatchs in it, then it will be listed.

Your problem - You have put in info_player_starts instead of info_player_deathmatchs.

How to solve - open your map in hammer, go to the entity report, select all info_player_starts and hit 'go to,' then change them to info_player_deathmatchs. compile. play.

ok now its in the list but it says the map is not found in server?

Do you have the BSP file in your RMF directory? If you have it there then just copy it to valve/maps! :)

If the BSP is in Half-life/valve/maps it could be any kind of error that accured during compiling, or in the map.

Post your compiling log and check for problems.

i cant post the compile log im getting a qbsp error, ill have 2 re try this tomorrow.

Qbsp? That means you're using those outdated compile tools. Get ZHLT.

Then post it with the BSP error. The log is saved in the directory of the rmf after the compile.
