Im trying to make my sky solid as in you cant pass threw it, you can 'swim' in all my recent maps- since im trying to make a scout map this is a problem. Anyone know the trick to fix this? Because my clan is expecting this map to be done very soon.

when compiling, add the perameter -noskyclip . It will make your sky solid

um, nope was positive it would have worked when i replied- but it still doesnt work with the 'no sky clip' checked on batch compiler.
(batch compiler version 2.0.3.1).

Also, i cant figure out how to make a trigger relay > Weapon strip > player equip (scout + knife), thing going. Any thoughts on both of these problems?

Stick a clip brush around your sky brushes if -noskyclip won't work. Atleast that's all i can think of.

Use ZHLT. Immediately.

-noskyclip removes the clipnodes from the sky not adding them. You are probebly using an old version of ZHLT or Q-Tools. Update!

If that doesn't work do it manually, place clip brushes in places the player can touch the sky.

hrmm, have you actually used it elon?? it does place clips around the sky... The name of the command makes no sense, but it does what I say it does.

Its not working for you Hi because you are using the batch compiler. Compile with ZHLT and that command and it will work.

I have never played a scout map, but I'm sure you could put something in the perimeter which would prevent you from touching the sky brushes. Some sort of wall of fence.
The moment a player meets an invisible limit in the map, the credibility of the virtual world is lost!
Anyway, if you use Zoner's half-life tools, you don't need to add any commands, it will clip automatically.
