i just download ZHLT, replaced the old one tools with the new, changed my hammer setings, and get this:

The original tools worked fine.

I don't know where you've downloaded the Tools, but inside the zipfile, there should be two dll files. Place those files in the same directory as the tools intself, Hammer/Tools.

The Tools may not work properly if those dll's are missing.

It's probably not a good idea to:

1. Work off the desktop (messiness ftl)
2. Work over two drives (C and E).

Do all your work on the one drive and see if that changes anything.

I tried it, but no change.
All my stuff is on drive E, not on desktop, dll's are in tools dir.
(downloaded form: http://twhl.co.za/forums.php?pgt=1&action=viewthread&id=11627&pg=1)

in zhlt change log is: "If you are geting DLL Errors, you will need to install the Visual C++ 2005 Runtime Libraries Package Beta 2"
Can be that a point?

ok, i have one more problem.

When i used original hammer tools (btw. are they q-tools?), used csg, bsp, vis and rad, all was fine.
But if i used only csg, bsp and vis WITHOUT rad, compile was ok aloso, but game craches when i reached some point (each time the same point).

so please look at it and tell me.

PS: the point is on first floor, near the stairs.
PPS: I'm just working in it :biggrin:

DUDE!

Why the hell did you made a huge box arround your map, and scaled it way to high (100.00 on X and Y)? Also, you're using a huge brush with the AAATRIGGER texture, also scaled 100.00 on X and Y. Get rid of those, or apply the SKY texture on those brushes so it can function as a sky.

HLRAD Crashes because of:

1. Huge box around arround your map with the Staircase texture, which also gives off light, because its an texturelight.
2. Huge brush with AAATRIGGER texture. Bad bad bad.
3. Scales waaaaay to high!

Fix those.

What you sad is true, the box around is sky, and aaatriger brush is ground.
that was provizor.

Problem is that: when i run qrad, all was good and when NOT, the game craches.
