Im sorry if this is in the wrong section but i cant see anywhere else to put it. Anyway, is there any way atall (without scripting or HL:Spirit to change the way the NPCs act towards each other, or even the player (like the AI_Relationship entity in Half life 2's hammer) such as making soldiers that dont attack you, or do i need to use spirit for this, and one last question, is it possible to send Spirit made maps to my friend who hasnt got spirit so he can actually play them like normal?
Big Thanks in Advance. :D

If you tick "Prisioner" in the flags of a monster_human_grunt, he will point at you but won't shoot you. You can tick "Wait for script", he will be idle until you tell him to do something with scripted sequences.

As for Spirit, I'm sure your friend would need the DLLs to run the map. You can make a minimod for your friend with those DLLs.

the only way to change the relationships without spirit would be to code it, which is really easy sinse its this little chart for every monster. but then you still would have to provide the Dll's.

so going with spirit would be best
